As a Full-Time Pediatric Dentist at Jordan Valley you will provide the following services:  · Examination and comprehensive dental care of infants, children, adolescents, and adults with special health care needs · Direct and indirect restorations of primary and permanent dentition · Extractions of primary and permanent teeth · Pulpal treatment of primary and immature permanent teeth · Limited orthodontic treatment  · Consultations regarding complex treatment of pediatric patients referred from outside entities · Pediatric moderate sedation · In-office general anesthesia attended by board-certified anesthesiologists · Hospital management of patients with complex medical histories · Consultation with patients undergoing hematology/oncology services at St. Jude Affiliate clinic · Management of pediatric frenulae Compensation and benefits include:   National Health Corps Loan Repayment CME Allowance Paid malpractice insurance  Retirement plan (with employer match) Minimal call rotation 4 Day Work Week Requirements: Doctorate of dental surgery or dental medicine Fully licensed dentist to practice in the State of MO (or the ability to obtain a MO license). We are looking for experienced, energetic, driven individuals that want to provide the best possible experience for our young patients! Our services include: nitrous oxide, laser dentistry, in-office IV sedation with our pediatric anesthesiology team and hospital dentistry. Must have: - 2 or more years pediatric dental experience. - Must have an expanded function dental assisting (EFDA) Certificate from an accredited school. - Experience with coronal polishing.  - Proficient in radiographs using phosphor plates and a NOMAD. The EFDA will report directly to dentist and office manager. Our services include: nitrous oxide, laser dentistry, in-office IV sedation with our pediatric anesthesiology team and hospital dentistry. Must have: - 5 or more years experience. - Excellent communication skills. - Ability to train a team in administrative duties. - Ability to send insurance claims. - Know how to address insurance claims for operating room dentistry.  The office manager will be delegated administrative duties by the dentist. This may include coordinating marketing, budgeting office expenses, arranging staff meetings and handling payroll. The manager will be responsible for patient appointments, staff schedules and perform billing and bookkeeping duties. It is imperative that the manager is able to work closely with the staff dentist and other employees to help everyone perform their duties effectively.
