You will help ensure an A-class patient experience from start to finish, while juggling a handful of critical administrative projects that keep the office running. What you’ll do:
Answer phone calls and field inquiries from current and prospective patients regarding appointments, services, and pricing.
Schedule appointments for patients and finalize schedule for the doctor each day.
Collect fees and copays, initiate pre-authorizations, and bill insurance carriers for services completed.
Perform data entry tasks for patient and insurance information.
Maintain filing systems and keep patient records up to date.
Coordinate our patient mailing and recall system to ensure a constant flow of appointments.
Manage the office’s social media handles and post new content as appropriate.
Touch base with patients and collect on outstanding accounts.
Maintain cleanliness of the office facilities and complete other ad hoc projects as needed by the doctor.
What you’ll bring
High degree of proficiency with a dental practice management software (ie. Dentrix, Eaglesoft, etc.)
Experience working with and interacting with common insurance carriers within healthcare.
Intermediate to advanced computer/software skills: MS office, Dentrix, email communication,
2+ years’ experience performing in an administrative capacity.
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision or direction.
Reliable transportation to the Rowland Heights area.
